What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
PACKINGTON LANE, LITTLE PACKINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Maintenance and upgrade work on telecoms mast, overnight 20.00hrs - 06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 29 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 30 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Chester Road, A452, Packington Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 01652 656291.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
LEAMINGTON ROAD, STONELEIGH
Order Effect: A 40mph speed limit will be imposed from a point 190m south-west of The Garth for a distance of 25m in a south westerly direction.
Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users and of the contractors working to renew a telegraph pole.
Order Commences: 13 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 October 2026.
Contractor: Core Highways, Tel: 0330 043 3030.
OLD HOUSE LANE, CORLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install barrier system.
Order Commences: 12 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: Church Lane, Tamworth Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 0330 433 1766.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
