MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS

WESTBRIDGE ROAD, SW11

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No.*) Order 202;

• The Wandsworth (Battersea) (Parking Places) (No.*) Order 202.

2. The general effect of the Orders is to remove 6 No. parking bays on the north-west side of Westbridge Road and replace with double yellow lines (“no waiting at any time”) between Nos. 24 and 44 Westbridge Road to facilitate a cycle lane.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

4. Any person wishing to make a comment or to object about the proposal should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION– BENNERLEY ROAD SW11

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict pedestrian traffic in Bennerley Road to facilitate Building works

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall enter or proceed along the footpath on Bennerley Road from outside number 79 to the junction with Northcote Road. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway for the duration of the works

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 5 October 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 30 April 2027.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – SOLNA AVENUE SW15

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Solna Avenue to facilitate Telecoms utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Solna Avenue. Solna Avenue will be closed in the northbound direction from the junction with Westleigh Avenue to outside 2. The one-way restriction will be suspended from number 2 to the junction adjacent to number 6. There will be no waiting 08:00 -17:00.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 5 October 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 5 October 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – FREKE ROAD SW11

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Freke Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Freke Road from the junction with Taybridge Road to the junction with Wix’s Lane. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 29 September 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 2 November 2026.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION– GRESSENHALL ROAD SW18

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Gressenhall Road to facilitate Event at The London Mosque

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, temporary restrictions will be introduced on Gressenhall Road from outside number 45 to the junction with Melrose Road. There will be no waiting 14:00 -22:00.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 3 October 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 3 October 2026.
