ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Atherton Road, Barnes

(Reference 26/179)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Atherton Road, Barnes.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Atherton Road, Barnes from the junction with Verdun Road to a point at the boundary wall of number 2 and 3 Atherton Road.

3. The order will come into effect 28 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 28 September to 29 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Parke Road, Galata Road, Ferry Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Restrictions,

Chertsey Road & Gloucester Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Chertsey Road & Gloucester Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park or stand in Chertsey Road from outside numbers 402 to 468 where there will be rolling suspensions in place between 28 September to 16 October 2026.

In Gloucester Road at the junction with Chertsey Road 6 bays in total 3 bays on each side of the road at the junction with Chertsey Road where there will be suspensions in place for the duration of the works for a compound from 28 September to 16 October 2026.

3. The order will come into effect on 28 September 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 28 September 2026 until 16 October 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Court Close, Twickenham from outside number 1 to the junction with Court Close Avenue.

3. The order will come into effect 28 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 28 September to 30 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate external decoration works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Ferry Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Ferry Road, Twickenham from the junction with Riverside to the junction with Little Ferry Road.

3. The order will come into effect 28 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 28 September to 06 November 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be Northbound via Little Ferry Road, Lebanon Park and southbound via Little Ferry Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The parking restrictions and road closures will operate on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 01 October 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 01 October until 27 November 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
