TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary One Way Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC152498183: The City of Manchester (Trinity Way, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary One Way Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to make Trinity Way One Way from Hampson Street to Water Street (permitted direction of travel).
The alternative routes for traffic will be: Trinity Way, Water Street, Liverpool Road, Deansgate, Bridgewater Viaduct, Chester Road, Mancunian Way, Egerton Street, Dawson Street, Regent Road, Ordsall Lane, Wilburn Street, Hampson Street.
The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is necessary in order to facilitate from Hampson Street to Water Street. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 11th October 2026 to 12th October 2026 22:00 and 05:00.
The Order shall come into operation on 11th October 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
