Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 81, 82(1) & (2) (b), 83(2), 84(1)(a) and (2), and Parts IV and III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Colne Engaine Road, Pebmarsh in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Colne Engaine Road to its junction with Levitts Corner a distance of approximately 1310m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd October 2026 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2399234 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.An alternative route is available via Colne Road, Pebmarsh Road, The Green, Green Farm Road, Overhall Hill, Cricks Road, Hill House Road, The Street, Clay Hills, Levitts Corner and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 1st October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Trinity Road, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Trinity Road, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 25m north west of its junction with Upper Trinity Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03168578546 – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).An alternative route is available via Mount Pleasant, New Street, Trinity Street, Mount Hill and vice versa (with access only into Trinity Road).
The Order will come into effect on 1st October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.4) Order 2026

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 17th September 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
The Order came into effect on 17th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
