What is happening?
OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(OXFORDSHIRE 7.5 TONNE MAXIMUM GROSS WEIGHT RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO.11) ORDER 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order – as a result of the construction of the A34 Lodge Hill junction – is to introduce a 7.5 tonne Goods Vehicle Weight Limits on the following roads within Kennington & South Hinksey:
1. A4183 Oxford Road (Kennington) – between its junction with Foxcombe Road/Hinksey Hill, & its roundabout junction with the northern A34 Lodge Hill Junction slip-roads (partly in the parish of Radley),
2. Hinksey Hill (South Hinksey) – between its roundabout junction with the A34 Hinksey Hill Interchange & its junction with Foxcombe Road/A4183 Oxford Road.
Exemptions will apply to the emergency services & utility works, as well as for any vehicle that requires legitimate access including deliveries to any premises or land situated on or adjacent to the stated lengths of road. Bus services are unaffected.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxfordshire 7.5 Tonne Maximum Gross Weight Restriction) Order 2007 will be further amended as necessary.

(THAME AND VARIOUS PARISHES) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order – for road safety reasons – is to introduce a new 20mph speed limit on all roads within the new ‘The Meadows at Hampden Gardens’ residential development, located south of the B4012 Wenman Road in Thame.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Thame and Various Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 2025 will be revoked/replaced as necessary.

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the proposals – in accordance with parking policy & planning permissions – is to amend the eligibility of the following properties to apply for Residents and/or Visitors Parking Permits as follows:
1. Girdlestone Road – exclude the new flats (Nos.10-17) at Girdlestone House, No.1 Girdlestone Close from eligibility to apply for resident’s parking permits & residents’ visitors parking permits,
2. Lye Valley – exclude No.11 Glebelands from eligibility to apply for resident’s parking permits & residents’ visitors parking permits,
