PROPOSED TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER PENCLAWDD WARD PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME NOTICE 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea intends to make an Order in pursuance of its powers as contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ("the Act") the effect of which is as set out in the Schedule(s) below.
A copy of the proposed Order, Statement of Reasons and an appropriate plan may be inspected during normal office hours at Y Storfa, 277-278 Oxford St, Swansea SA1 3EL.
Alternatively the proposal documents can be viewed online at https://www.swansea.gov.uk/permanenttro.
Any objections to the proposals should be submitted in writing setting out the reasons thereto to reach the undersigned at the above address or via e-mail at Legal.TrafficNotices@swansea.gov.uk by the 16th October 2026 DVT 286414/EE.
SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing Orders are revoked as far as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.
SCHEDULE 2
PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME
STATION ROAD
On its southern side from its junction with the western kerbline of Hendy Road for a distance 22 metres in a westerly direction (Dropped kerb included)
GOWERTON ROAD
On its southern side from its junction with the eastern kerbline of Hendy Road for a distance 20 metres in a easterly.
HENDY ROAD
On its western side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Station Road to its junction with the northern kerbline of Nurses Corner for a distance of 11 metres in a southerly direction.
On its western side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Nurses Corner for a distance of 98 metres in a southerly direction.
On its eastern side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Gowerton Road for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction.
NURSES CORNER
On its northern side from its junction with the western kerbline of Hendy Road for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction.
On its southern side from its junction with the western kerbline of Hendy Road for a
distance of 19 metres in a westerly direction.
CAE FOLLAND
On both sides from its junction with the southern kerb line of Glanmor Terrace for a distance
of 15 metres in a southerly direction
GLANMOR TERRACE
On its southern side from its junction with the eastern kerbline of Cae Folland for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.
BEACH ROAD
On its southern side from its junction with the western kerbline of Cae Folland for a distance of 12 metres in a westerly direction (Dropped kerb included)
