What is happening?

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401489 FIERY LANE (ULEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401489 Fiery Lane Road, from outside of the property known as ‘Dingle Farm’ to outside The Green for a distance of approximately 510 metres.
The reason for the closure is for pole replacement works.
The said road is expected to be closed on 28th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401477 ADEY’S LANE (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401477 Adey’s Lane from outside of the property known as ‘Under the Hill Cottage’ to outside of the property known as ‘Old Coach House’ for a distance of approximately 65 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of BT Openreach.
The road is expected to be closed between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 28th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4060 GLOUCESTER STREET (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4060 Gloucester Street from its junction with Old Town to outside of the property known as ‘No.12 Gloucester Street’ for a distance of approximately 120 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.
The road is expected to be closed from 30th September 2026 until 1st October 2026 and between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 daily. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS CCA23, CCA24 & CCA25 (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths CCA23, CCA24 & CCA25 as described in the schedule below;
Schedule
Public Footpath CCA 23 from its junction with Draycott Crescent extending in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 700 metres to it junction with Restricted Byway CCA 21.
Public Footpath CCA 24 from its junction with Public Footpath CCA 22 extending in a generally northerly direction for approximately 700 metres to its junction with public footpath CCA 25.
Public Footpath CCA 25 from its junction with CCA 24 extending in a generally northerly direction for approximately 400 metres to its junction with Public Footpath CCA 29.
The paths fall within the Parish of Cam in Stroud District and in the Gloucestershire County
The closure is necessary to protect the public whilst construction works are completed.
The Order will come into force on the 1st October 2026 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will close on that day until 1st April 2027. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
Alternative Route: As signed on order map. Emergency Service access and pedestrian access to adjoining premises will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C284 CLARENCE ROAD (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C284 Clarence Road, from its junction with Orchard Way to the layby outside Clarence Court for a distance of approximately 40 metres. The reason for the closure is for carriageway patching works.
The said road is expected to be closed on 15th October 2026 only.

The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Openreach.
The said road is expected to be closed from 14th October 2026 until 16th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for fibre installation works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 12th October 2026 until 18:00 hours on the 18th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
