TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON ACORN WAY, DERBY
WHEN: 23 October 2026 to 23 October 2026 (09.30 to 15.30) WHERE: Acorn Way, from its junction with Derby Road Roundabout to Derby City boundary – for a distance of approximately 1.5 KM. REASON: Annual highway maintenance TYPE OF ORDER: Temporary Traffic Regulation Order ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Acorn Way – Morley Road – Chaddesden Lane – Nottingham Road – Derby Road (and the same in the opposite direction)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON BOYER STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 27 October 2026 to 29 October 2026 WHERE: Boyer Street, at its junction with Abbey Street – for a distance of approximately 20 metres. REASON: Drainage works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Boyer Street – Farm Street – Woods Lane – Stockbrook Street – Abbey Street (and the same in the opposite direction)

WHEN: 27 October 2026 to 28 October 2026 WHERE: Church Lane, from its junction with Duffield Road to its junction with South Avenue, Duffield Road, suspend the Right Turn into Church Lane. Duffield Road, suspend the Left Turn (Bus Gate) into Church Lane. Phase 2 -– A52 Brian Clough Way, Westbound from Wyvern Way to The Pentagon (Inclusive of adjoining slip roads). Phase 3 – A52 Brian Clough Way, Westbound from Spondon Interchange to The Pentagon (Inclusive of adjoining slip roads). REASON: Works for Highway Purposes. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON WILMORE ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 05 October 2026 to 30 January 2027 WHERE: Phase 3: Wilmore Road, from its junction with Victory Road and Merrill Way roundabout to RR Factory Gate No 5A – a distance of approximately 100 metres. Phase 4: Wilmore Road, from its junction with RR Factory Gate No 5A to its junction with Infinity Park Way – a distance of approximately 380 metres. REASON: Water mains renewal ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wilmore Road – Sinfin Lane – Osmaston Park Road – Osmaston Road – Chellaston Road (A514) – Merrill Way (and the same in the opposite direction)
