Buckingham Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Connection Works

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (As Amended) - Buckingham Road - (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2026

THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT Hereby Give Notice that, to facilitate a water connection and associated works in Buckingham Road, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to:-
(a) Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in Buckingham Road, which lies between a point opposite the party wall Nos. 5 and 7 Buckingham Road and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 11 and 13 Buckingham Road;
(b) Pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the north-eastern footway of Buckingham Road, which lies between a point opposite the party wall Nos. 5 and 7 Buckingham Road and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 11 and 13 Buckingham Road;
(c) Suspend the one-way working in Buckingham Road between its junctions with High Street, Harlesden and Nightingale Road, to allow vehicular access and egress, when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above and the suspension referred to in (c) above will apply between 16th September 2026 and 5th October 2026 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier only. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Buckingham Road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
