(Access Road for the BGG UK Ltd Warehouse (Onto the B1035 Heath Road) Tendring) (Prohibition of Right-Hand Turn) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the Order: To Implement: ‘Prohibition of Right-Hand Turn’ Restriction, in the Parish of Tendring, in the District of Tendring.

No person shall cause any vehicle leaving the Access Road for the BGG UK Ltd Warehouse (approximately 62 metres south of Pilcox Hall Lane) to make a right-hand turn in order to travel southbound on the B1035 Heath Road.

(Beaconsfield Avenue, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the Order: To temporarily close that length of Beaconsfield Avenue, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Maldon Road to its junction with Butt Road a distance of approximately 200m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2404609-Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. These works are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via B1026, B1022 and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 1st October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Dickenson Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the Order: To temporarily close that length of Dickenson Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Northern Approach Road to its junction with Bolsin Drive a distance of approximately 190m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (Unknown (EP201EH2395218 – Essex County Council)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Dickenson Road, Hakewill Way, Wallace Road, Northern Approach Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 1st October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Park Lane, Langham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

Closure 1. To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Langham in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Langham Lane to its junction with Wick Road a distance of approximately 1250m.

Closure 2. To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Langham in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Wick Road for a distance of approximately 260m in a south easterly direction.

Closure 1 is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit and Closure 2 is scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2026 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD04566369861/P1A – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).

An alternative route is available via Wick Road, School Road, Moor Road, A12 and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 1st October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Red Barn Road, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Red Barn Road, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Seaview Road to its junction with Samsons Road a distance of approximately 105m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30007858731 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via B1029, High Street, Hurst Green and vice versa (with access only into Red Barn Road and Bateman Road).

The Order will come into effect on 1st October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Melrose Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Melrose Road, West Mersea in the City of Colchester, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Yorick Avenue a distance of approximately 270m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st October 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2404245 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(School Road, Little Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Little Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 240m south west then north west of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 220m in a south westerly then westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th October 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH2WTL6J – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via School Road, Holts Road, Workhouse Road, Vinesse Road, School Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 1st October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Little Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Little Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 515m north east then north west of its junction with Rowherns Lane for a distance of approximately 140m in a north westerly then north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20115394465 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial hole investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Church Road, Manningtree Road, Harwich Road, B1029, A133, Church Road and vice versa.

(Fishponds Hill, Great Horkesley/Little Horkesley & London Road, Great Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Fishponds Hill, Great Horkesley/Little Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from its junction with London Road to its junction with Water Lane a distance of approximately 790m.

2. To temporarily close that length of London Road, Great Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Tog Lane to its junction with Horkesley Hill a distance of approximately 1350m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 5th October 2026 – (19:00 - 3:00) for 4 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH2VCF6J, BC311002WH2VCF6J, BC311003WH2VCF6J & BC311004WH2VCF6J – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Green Island & Park Road, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Green Island, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Park Road to its junction with Bromley Road a distance of approximately 420m.

2. To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 470m north east of its junction with Bromley Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 5th October 2026 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH2V4R1P & BC311002WH2V4R1P – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Park Road, Frating Road, Ardleigh Road, Colchester Road, Bromley Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 17th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.3) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in the Schedule.

2. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 17th September 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

The Order came into effect on 17th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, City of Colchester & District of Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.12) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the City of Colchester and District of Maldon as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough & District of Maldon) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 17th September 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network.
