Waltham Forest - Temporary Parking & Loading Restrictions Due To Development Works
What is happening?
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST (LBWF)
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) - The Waltham Forest (Hill Partnerships London) (Eastleigh Road And Sherwood Close E17) (Temporary Measures) (No. 1) Order 2026
THE COUNCIL OF THE LBWF Hereby Gives Notice that on 24th September 2026 it made Order an Order to facilitate waste and management during development works by Hill Partnerships London, to be carried out, in a safe and efficient manner, in Eastleigh Rd E17 and Sherwood Cl E17.
The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as indicated by regulatory signs, to prohibit motor vehicles from parking, waiting, loading or unloading for any purpose at any time in;
(a) Eastleigh Road – the west side, from the northern boundary of No.1 Everglade House, southwards for 12m;
(b) Sherwood Close – the east side, from a point opposite the northern boundary of No.9 Tuscany House, southwards for 12m;
The restrictions mentioned above would not apply in relation to any vehicle being used:
(a) in connection with the said works; or
(b) for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes (if the works allow).
The Order will come into operation on 25th September 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. (Ref: TT33(26))
NOTE: Signage placed in advance of any works in the above-mentioned roads would give more specific details on the exact dates of the effects and of any temporary traffic management as necessary.
