Alternative route – 1. Brook Hill, Park Road, Little London, Brook Lane and Brook Hill, or this route in reverse. 2. Brook Hill, Shophouse Lane, Row Lane, Winterfold Heath Road, Windmill Plain, Hound House Road, Sandy Lane, Shere Heath Road, Park Road and Brook Hill, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Network Rail to facilitate signal and telecoms maintenance and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 September 2026 for 2 nights between the hours of 10.00pm and 6.00am.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 18 September 2026, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Malthouse Lane (D38) Worplesdon.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 23 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: – a) Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D5400 Summers Road, Farncombe. b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Summers Road (D5400) Farncombe Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Management Order 2026” in its entirety.

This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out traffic signal refurbishment and/or repair and/or maintenance and/or highway works.

These works are anticipated to be carried out within 2 weeks of the 14 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 October 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives and/or via the alternative route: – B3000 New Pond Road, D5409 Furze Lane and D98 Bourne Road.

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 23 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D6811 Giggs Hill Gardens, Thames Ditton that extends from its north-eastern junction with A307 Portsmouth Road, for a distance of 30m.

This Traffic Order is required to enable Thames Water/M Group to carry out excavations and/or replacement of pillar and/or connection and/or water mains maintenance works, backfilling and reinstatement.

These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 September 2026.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

There is no applicable alternative route.

This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 05 October 2026 is required to facilitate stormwater drainage installation works and/or carriageway resurfacing works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Foran Construction within the length of road described in this notice. The works in are anticipated to be carried out over two weeks between the hours of 8pm and 6am.

On 23 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Dane Road (D3272) Ashford as extends from its junction with (D3272) Dane Road Access Road to its junction with (D6204) Saxon Road.

Alternative Route – Saxon Road; Elgin Avenue; and Dane Road or this same route in reverse.

This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 05 October 2026 is required to facilitate mains water repair works and/ or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Affinity Water within the length of road described in this notice.

The works in are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including residents, businesses, the emergency services and cyclists will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this Closure.

Woodbridge Meadows (Cycle Lane) (D4003) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 23 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to (a) prohibit any person from entering or proceeding on foot or by any other means in that length of Woodbridge Meadows (Cycle Lane) (D4003) Guildford as extends from its junction with the access to No.33 Woodbridge Meadows to its junction with the access to the Woodbridge Meadows Car Park.

Alternative Route – It is recommended that cyclists dismount and then rejoin the cycle lane further along the route; and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Woodbridge Meadows (D4003) and Walnut Tree Close (D4003) Guildford (One-Way System and Contra-flow Cycle Lane) (No. 1) Traffic Regulation Order 2023” insofar as it affects that length of the Cycle Lane specified and described in part (a).

This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 05 October 2026 is required to facilitate fibre telecoms installation and ducting works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Fibrewave Installations Ltd within the length of road described in this notice.

The works in are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days between the hours of 8.30am and 6.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via the alternate footpath.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 23 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Green (C47) Ewhurst as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between the properties known as “Weavers” and “Square Leg Cottage” to a point in line with the common boundary between the properties known as “Fair View” and “Stone Cottage”.

Alternative Route – The Green; Cranleigh Road; Bookhurst Road; Ewhurst Road; Horsham Road; Somersbury Lane; and The Green.

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 October 2026.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Temporary Bus Lane Suspension Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to suspend the existing bus lane situated in that length of (a) the southbound carriageway of Woking Road (A320) as extends from its junction with its roundabout with the trunk road entering the (A3) Guildford- Godalming By-Pass to its junction with the trunk road exiting the (A3) Guildford- Godalming By-Pass; (b) Suspend “The County Council of Surrey Woking Road (A320) Guilford (Bus Lanes) (No. 1) Order 2002” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in part (a) of this Notice.

This Order is required to facilitate a safe working zone for, or on behalf of ClearView Surveys Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 9pm and 5am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 October 2026.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary suspension of the bus lane will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and/or covered up (as appropriate).

The prohibition referred to above will not apply: (i) in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; (ii) in respect of anything done in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police; (iii) to any vehicle being used in connection with the works.

High Street (D5438) Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Management Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) High Street (D5438) Godalming as extends from its junction with (D5427) Queen Street to its junction with (D5420) Moss Lane; (b) prohibit vehicles from exiting (X68140) Harts Yard from turning left into (D5438) High Street; (c) that length of High Street (D5438) Godalming as extends from its junction with (D5420) Moss Lane to its junction with (D5403) Church Street from travelling in any other direction other than eastwards; (d) Suspend “The Surrey County Council High Street Godalming (One Way Traffic Order) 1995” insofar as it affects that length of road in part (c) of this Notice.

Alternative Route: High Street, Bridge Street, (A3100) Bridge Road, (A3100) Flambard Way, High Street, Station Road, Church Street, High Street, Moss Lane, The Burys, and Bridge Street.

This Temporary Traffic Order is required to facilitate mains water drainage and connection works for, or on behalf of Etec Group.

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 26 days between, the hours of 8am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 October 2026.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure and prohibitions, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Temporary Closure Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in that length of B374 Brooklands Road, Weybridge that extends from its junction with B374 Heath Road, to its junction with B472 St Georges Avenue.

This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out installations and or highway improvements and/or surfacing and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8pm and 6am, within 4 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained under direction of operatives on site.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 21 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along that length of Public Footpath 43 (Chertsey) which extends from its junction with Lynne Lane (Grid ref: 501388 167644) to its junction with St. Ann’s Hill.

The order is necessary on the grounds of public safety due to a burst sewer main.

The closure will be in operation for a period of six months from 24 September 2026 or until completion of the works, if earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the county council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.
