1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has approved a proposal to install a zebra crossing in The Drive, the centre line of which would be located approximately 42.0 metres south-east of its junction with Gloucester Gardens, with associated tactile paving, zig-zags, belisha beacons and street lighting, in order to improve road safety.
2. A copy of the plan showing the location of the proposed crossing may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford Essex IG1 1NY.
3. Any person wishing to object or make representations on the proposals should send a statement in writing of their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Head of Highways and Transportation Strategy, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1NY quoting reference CP/TE/SA-YA/TDCBS by no later than 15th October 2026.
