TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has made a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order on 21/09/2026, as detailed below:
Nature of Restriction: Road Closure
Location: Quarry Road, Hornton, Oxfordshire
Description of Works: Demolish and rebuild carriageway chamber
Duration: Starting on 29/09/2026 00:00
The anticipated completion date is 01/10/2026 23:59 (inclusive) (Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months, or 6 months for footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways that are open to all traffic).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.
Suggested Alternative Route: Banbury Road, Stratford Road A422, Horley Path Road, Wroxton Lane, Hornton Lane, Street From Hornton To Bush Hill, Quarry Road and vice versa.
Oxfordshire County Council intends to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
This Order follows the Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice previously issued under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Reference 204). The restriction remains necessary to allow the works to continue and this Order continues the temporary restriction under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Nature of Restriction: Road Closure
Location: Cow Lane, Swerford, Oxfordshire. Approximately 100 metres south of the junction with Street from Swerford to Great Rollright.
Description of Works: Pole replacement being carried out by BT.

Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intends to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order as detailed below:
Nature of Restriction: Road Closure
Location: Barford Road, South Newington, Oxfordshire (from junction with A361 to junction with South Newington Road)
Description of Works: To facilitate pre-surface dressing works being carried out by M Group Transport.

Duration: Starting on 10/11/2026 19:00
The anticipated completion date is 11/11/2026 07:00 (inclusive). This will operate between 19:00 and 07:00 nightly. (Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months for roads, or 6 months for other public rights of way).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.
Suggested Alternative Route: Diversion via Barford Road, B4031, A361 and vice versa
