Provision of Raised Speed Tables – Whitehall Road

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct raised speed tables at each of the following locations:-

(a) Whitehall Road, outside Nos. 191 or thereabouts;

(b) Whitehall Road, near The Pines or thereabouts;

(c) Whitehall Road, outside Nos. 125-127 or thereabouts;

(d) Whitehall Road, near the borough boundary or thereabouts;

2. The raised speed tables would be of flat top design, approximately 75 millimetres at their highest point and would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.

3. A copy of the plans showing the locations of the raised speed tables may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford IG1 1NY.

4. Any person wishing to object or make representation to the proposals should send a statement in writing of either their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Head of Highways and Transportation Strategy, Lynton House, 2nd Floor Front, 255-259 High Road, Ilford IG1 1NY quoting reference CP/TE/SA-ZR/WR-Z by no later than 15th October 2026.
