(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

(ALFRED STREET, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Alfred Street from No. 5 to No. 10 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(CLUB STREET, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Club Street from its junction with Burnley Road to No. 3 Club Street for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(COPLEY GROVE, COPLEY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Copley Grove from its junction with Wakefield Road to No. 11 Copley Grove for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available – access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(WINDLE ROYD LANE, WARLEY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by 2Works Traffic Management, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Windle Royd Lane from Lower Windle to Windle Royd Farm for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Stock Lane, Gibbet Street, Warley Road, Burnley Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th September 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(BLACKSHAW CLOUGH ROAD, SOYLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Blackshaw Clough Road from its junction with Lighthazles Road to Prospect House for a distance of approximately 75 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Blackshaw Clough Road, Cross Wells Road, Blue Ball Road, Coal Gate Road, Greave Road, Ash Hall Lane, Eccles Parlour, Lighthazles Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(RAWTONSTALL BANK, HEBDEN BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rawtonstall Bank from its junction with Savile Road to Badger Lane for a distance of approximately 860 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Bank Terrace, Church Lane, Bankfoot, Heptonstall Road, Lee Wood Road, Draper Lane, Slack Bottom, Smithy Lane, New Shaw Lane, Old Shaw Lane, Badger Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th October 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(BLIND LANE, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Blind Lane from its junction with Adam Street to Sub Station adjacent to No. 39 for a distance of approximately 25 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Blind Lane, Victoria Road, Burnley Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(DEAN HOUSE LANE, LUDDENDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dean House Lane from its junction with Delph Hill Lane to Cow Lane for a distance of approximately 650 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Dean House Lane, Booth Hill, Bank House Lane, Wainstalls Lane, Mount Tabor Road, Stocks Lane, High Street, New Road, Duke Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd October 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.

(SWAN LANE, OUTLANE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Swan Lane from Old Lee to New Lee for a distance of approximately 5.41 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via New Road, Old Lindley Road, Lindley Moor Road, Swan Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th October 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(WATER STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Water Street from West Street in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 250 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via West Street, Station Road, Norland Road, Victoria Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th October 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 21:00 & 06:00.
