Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3, 4, 19, 65(1), 124 and of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) as amended and all other enabling powers, and having regard to Section 122 of the Act, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order:-
The effect of the above named Order will be to prohibit all vehicles from entry except for Emergency vehicles and for access on the following length of roads in Sittingbourne, Swale:-
CHURCH ROAD - From a point 30 metres north of its junction with Hugh Price Close for a distance of 440 metres in a southerly direction. DOLPHIN ROAD, GOLDEN COURT, HUGH PRICE CLOSE, SUNNY BANK – For their entire length.

(AMENDMENT No.16) ORDER 2026
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 45, 46, 47 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to said Act, hereby proposes to make the following Order:
The effect of the named Order will be to remove the existing redundant bus stop markings and introduce Double Yellow Lines waiting restrictions (in this part of the notice DYL means double yellow lines) – no waiting at any time and a “Goods Vehicles Loading Only” bay on the following length of road in Snodland, Tonbridge & Malling:-
HOLBOROUGH ROAD – DYL- (1) On the west side to extend existing double yellow lines 8 metres north of its junction with High Street for a distance of 13 metres in a northerly direction. (2) On the west side from a point 33 metres north of its junction with High Street for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction joining the existing double yellow lines (3) On the west side to introduce a “Goods Vehicles Only Loading” bay 21 metres north of its junction with High Street for a distance of 12 metres in a northerly direction.
