Ray Lodge Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Thames Water Works

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1) - Ray Lodge Road Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic

1. THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate Thames Water works, it intends to make an Order, the effect of which would temporarily prohibit traffic in Ray Lodge Road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, Ray Lodge Road will be closed between its junctions with Snakes Lane East and Badlow Close.

3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via: Snakes Lane East, West Grove and Avenue Road.

4. Exemptions would be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. The Order would come into operation on the 29th September 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

6. Works are expected to commence on Tuesday the 29th September 2026 and are expected to finish on the 1st October 2026. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
