(Beechwood Avenue Area) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2026
On 22 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-named Order, under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is to impose a 20mph speed limit on the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice.
The speed limits made by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011. A copy of the Order, which will commence on 28 September 2026, together with a plan showing the length of road to which the Order relates and a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be viewed at:- (a) Reception, Surrey County Council, Hazel House, Merrow Lane, Guildford, Surrey, GU4 7BQ, Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm; (b) Spelthorne Borough Council, Knowle Green, Staines-upon-Thames, TW18 1XB, between 9am and 5pm (Monday to Thursday) and between 9am and 12pm (Fridays); (c) Sunbury Library, The Parade, Staines Road West, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 7AB, Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am to 5pm.
Schedule (20mph Speed Limit): 1. D6225 Ashridge Way, Sunbury-on-Thames – its entire length; 2. D6224 Beechwood Avenue, Sunbury-on-Thames – its entire length; 3. D6216 Bryony Way, Sunbury-on-Thames – its entire length; 4. D6224 Churchill Way, Sunbury-on-Thames – its entire length; 5. D6224 Kenyngton Drive, Sunbury-on-Thames – its entire length; 6. D6225 Keywood Drive, Sunbury-on-Thames – its entire length; 7. D6225 The Vale, Sunbury-on-Thames – its entire length; 8. D6225 Woodberry Close, Sunbury-on-Thames – its entire length.
