Barnet - Changes To Waiting - Loading & Parking Restrictions

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
The Barnet (Free Parking Places, Loading Places, Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) - (Amendment No.*) Order 20** - The Barnet (Charged-For Parking Places) - (Amendment No.*) Order 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to deter obstructive parking, and improve sightlines and safety, the general effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to:

1. Introduce new lengths ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions at the following locations:
a) Junction of Windsor Avenue and Broadhurst Avenue HA8; Junction of Broadhurst Avenue and Lynford Gardens HA8; Junction of Thorndene Avenue and Dene Road N11; Junction of Uphill Grove and Lawrence Avenue NW7.
b) Broadhurst Avenue HA8 – Opposite Nos.2 to 4 Broadhurst Avenue.
c) Broadfields Avenue HA8 – outside No. 65 Broadfields Avenue.
d) Westchester Drive NW4 – Southwest side and south side – between the junction of Parson Street and No.7 Westchester Drive.
e) Prevost Road N11 – Outside No.6 Prevost Road.
f) Mays Lane EN5 – Side of 24 Bishops Close.

2. Upgrade existing lengths of waiting restrictions to operate "At any time" at the following locations below:
a) Broadfields Avenue HA8 – outside Nos. 63 to 67 Broadfields Avenue (by converting lengths of existing waiting restrictions operating between the hours of 8:00am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday).
b) Broadhurst Avenue HA8 – Outside No.2 Broadhurst Avenue (by converting lengths of existing waiting restrictions operating between the hours 8:00am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday).
c) Junction of Uphill Grove and Lawrence Street NW7 (by converting lengths of existing waiting restrictions operating between the hours 8:00am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday and lengths of waiting restrictions operating 11:00am to 12:00pm Monday to Friday).
d) Redbourne Avenue N3 – Southeast side opposite Nos.2 to 4 Redbourne Avenue (by converting lengths of existing waiting restrictions operating between the hours of 2:00pm to 3:00pm Monday to Friday).
e) Redbourne Avenue N3 – Northeast side outside Nos.6 to 8 Redbourne Avenue (by converting lengths of existing waiting restrictions operating between the hours of 2:00pm to 3:00pm Monday to Friday).
f) Page Street NW7 – outside Nos. 147, 147a and 149 Page Street (by converting lengths of existing permit holder only parking bays operating between the hours of 1:00pm to 6:00pm on event days only).
g) Pursley Road NW7 – Outside and opposite Copthall School Avenue (by converting lengths of existing waiting restrictions operating between the hours of 1:00pm to 6:00pm on event days only).
h) Pursley Road NW7 – Southside – Across the entrance to the access road leading to the rear of Nos. 9 to 14 Page Court (by converting a length of existing waiting restrictions operating between the hours of 1:00pm to 6:00pm on Event days only as well as the relocations of the existing disabled bay and the permit holder only parking bay situated opposite Copthall School).
i) The Riding NW11 – Northwest side outside Nos.1 to 3 The Riding (by converting a length of existing waiting restrictions operating between the hours of 8:00am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday and Sundays 9:30am to 6:30pm).

3. The general effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to introduce lengths of No loading restrictions operating between the hours of 8:00am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday on both sides of Alderton Crescent NW4 between the junction of Vivian Avenue and No.1 Alderton Crescent.

4. The general effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to formalise lengths of no waiting "At any time" restrictions at the following locations on street listed below:
a) Page Street NW7 – between the junction of Wise Lane and Bunns Lane (by converting lengths of existing waiting restrictions operating 1:00pm to 6:00pm Saturdays on Sundays on Event days only); Outside No.1 Nupton Drive EN5 and outside No.276 Mays Lane EN5 and Mays Lane opposite Nupton Drive EN5.
b) At junction of Long Lane and Elmfield Road N2; At the junction of Long Lane and Claybrook Close N2; At the junction of Long Lane and New Oak Road N2; At the junction of Long Lane and New Trinity Road N2; At the junction of Long Lane and Chamberlain Road N2; At the junction of Long Lane and Brighton Road N2; At the junction of Long Lane and Font Hills N2; At the junction of Long Lane and Lucas Gardens N2; At the junction of Long Lane and Manor Cottages Approach N2; At the junction Bishops Close and Mays Lane EN5.
c) Creighton Avenue N2 – Northside of Creighton Avenue N2 outside No.1 to 10 Ashlar Court and outside East Finchley Baptist Church.
d) Creighton Avenue N2 – Southside of Creighton Avenue N2 (side of No.222 High Road N2).
