What is happening?
TRAFFIC ORDER
On 21/09/26, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Rosely Road, Woodside, Arbroath) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that electricity cabling works may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 28/09/26, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of three weeks. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The effect of the Order is to prohibit all vehicular traffic from driving and waiting on Rosely Road (C51 - A933) over its entire length. The alternative routes for vehicular traffic are via, A933 Forfar Road, Paradise Road (A933 - C51 - U495) and Arbroath – Hillend (C51), or via A933 Forfar Road, B9095 Keptie Road, East Muirlands Road and Arbroath – Hillend (C51). The reverse routes apply. Access for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and vehicular access to properties will be maintained. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders.
