THE A30 TRUNK (SUMMERCOURT TO VICTORIA)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A30 trunk road in the County of Cornwall to allow carriageway repairs and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place commencing on or after 12 October 2026 and be completed by 6 February 2027.
The effect of the Order would be to authorise: (a) the overnight closure (20:00 to 06:00) of:
(i) the A30 eastbound and westbound between Summercourt Junction and Highgate Hill Junction;
(ii) the A30 eastbound and westbound between Highgate Hill Junction and Victoria Junction;
(iii) the A30 eastbound entry slip road at Summercourt Junction;
(iv) the A30 eastbound and westbound entry slip roads at Blue Anchor Junction;
(v) the eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Highgate Hill Junction;
(vi) the A30 eastbound and westbound entry slip roads at Victoria Junction;
(b) the 24 hour closure of the laybys adjacent to the above length of the A30.
During the closure described above traffic would be diverted via junctions of the A30 and local roads. The closures (which would not apply to emergency services or works vehicles), and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order would come into force on 10 October 2026 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
