Sarsons Lane - Temporary Road Closure due to Openreach Pole Testing Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - SARSONS LANE, AMPORT, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Sarsons Lane between its junction with Amesbury Road and its junction with A303.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1.Eastbound-A303, A342 Weyhill Road, Amesbury Road.
2.Wesbound-A303, Amesbury Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Thursday 8th October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
