Quob Lane - Temporary Road Closure for Surveying & Cabling Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - QUOB LANE, WEST END, EASTLEIGH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Quob Lane between its junction with Allington Lane and its junction with Barbe Baker Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Allington Lane, A27 Swaythling Road, B3035 High Street, Chapel Road, Quob Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 7th October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for CCN Communications. This road closure is required for accessing chambers in the verge and carriageway for surveying and cabling purposes.
