Various Roads In Epsom (Rosebank And Whitehorse Drive Area) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

On 22 September 2026 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL made the above-named Order, under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is to impose a 20mph speed limit on the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice.

The speed limits made by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011. A copy of the Order, which will commence on 28 September 2026, together with a plan showing the lengths of roads to which this Order relates, a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be viewed at:-
(a) Reception, Surrey County Council, Hazel House, Merrow Lane, Guildford, Surrey, GU4 7BQ, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm;
(b) Epsom and Ewell Borough Council, Town Hall, The Parade, Epsom, Surrey, KT18 5BY, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm;
(c) Epsom Library, 6 Epsom Square, Epsom, Surrey, KT19 8AG, between 9:30am and 5:30pm (Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays), between 9:30am and 7:00pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and Saturdays (9:30am and 5:00pm).

1. D2142 Elm Grove, Epsom – its entire length;
2. D2491 Dalmeny Way, Epsom – its entire length;
3. D2133 Dudley Grove, Epsom – its entire length;
4. D2361 Mathias Close, Epsom – its entire length;
5. D2361 Rosebank, Epsom – its entire length;
6. D2361 West Street, Epsom – its entire length;
7. D2447 Whitehorse Drive, Epsom – its entire length.
