Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Partridge Cl, Birchwood (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2026

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Partridge Cl outside property numbers 28 to 32. The Order will be effective from 26th October 2026 for 3 days, between 9:30am & 2:30pm. The closure is required to allow for Openreach to install a new service connection.

Rushgreen Rd, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2026

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Rushgreen Rd from its jct. with Fletchers Ln to its jct. with Cloverfield. The Order will be effective from 23rd October 2026 to 26th October 2026. The alternative route will be via A6144 including Mill Ln, Bent Ln, Paddock Ln, Warburton Ln, Manchester New Rd, Manchester Rd, Harboro Rd & the A56 including Manchester Rd, Church St, Dunham Rd, Higher Ln, Church Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for Scottish Power, United Utilities & British Telecom to install new customer connections.

Station Rd, Poulton North (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2026

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Station Rd from its jct. with Church Dr to its jct. with Harpers Rd. The Order will be effective from 26th October 2026 for 1 week. The alternative route will be via Blackbrook Ave, Birchwood Way, Woolston Grange Ave, Harpers Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for Scottish Power to install a new main.

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Stockley Ln from its jct. with Northwich Rd to its jct. with the Borough Boundary with Cheshire West & Chester. The Order will be effective from 5th October 2026 for 1 day. The alternative route will be via Northwich Rd, Birch Tree Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out tree cutting works around their overhead cables.

(Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2026

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Bruche Ave from its jct. with Manchester Rd to its jct. with Fir Gr; Greenway from its jct. with Manchester Rd to its jct. with Royston Ave; Lambs Ln from its jct. with Manchester Rd to its jct. with Parkdale Ave; Grosvenor Ave from its jct. with Manchester Rd to its jct. with Egerton Ave. The Order will be effective from 5th October 2026 for 6 weeks, with the works being carried out in phases so only one road closure in place at any one time. The alternative routes will be as follows: Bruche Ave via Manchester Rd, Holes Ln, Green Ln, Padgate Ln & vice versa & via Manchester Rd, King Edward St, Padgate Ln & vice versa; Greenway via Lambs Ln, Royston Ave & vice versa; Lambs Ln via Greenway, Royston Ave & vice versa; Grosvenor Ave via Manchester Rd, Queens Ave, Egerton St & vice versa. The restrictions are required to allow Cadent gas to carry out mains replacement works.

The Order will be effective from 5th October 2026 for 6 weeks, between 8:30am & 5:30pm. The alternative routes will be as follows: Moat Ln via Manchester Rd, Chapel Ln, Moss Side Ln & vice versa; Somerset Way via Blackhurst Way, Holes Ln, Hillock Ln & vice versa; Dam Ln via Manchester Rd, Gig Ln & vice versa; Epping Dr via Hillock Ln, Long Barn Ln & vice versa; Gig Ln via Dam Ln, Manchester Rd & vice versa. The restrictions are required for road or footway surfacing.

The temporary restrictions will be in place as & when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
