HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN fod Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin (y cyfeirir ato fel ‘y Cyngor’ o hyn ymlaen), drwy arfer y pwerau a roddir gan Adran 90A o Ddeddf Priffyrdd 1980 (y cyfeirir ati fel ‘y Ddeddf’ o hyn ymlaen) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, ac ar ôl ymgynghori â Phrif Swyddog yr Heddlu a’r cyrff neu’r personau hynny a bennir gan Reoliadau Priffyrdd (Twmpathau Ffyrdd) 1999 (y cyfeirir atynt fel ‘y Rheoliadau’ o hyn ymlaen) yn unol ag Adran 90C(1) o’r Ddeddf, ac yn unol ag Adrannau 90C(2) a 90C(3) o’r Ddeddf, yn bwriadu adeiladu twmpathau ffordd newydd ar ffurf twmpathau arafu estynedig yn Heol yr Orsaf a Maes y Gors yn Llanelli, Sir Gaerfyrddin.

Disgrifir lleoliad pob twmpath ffordd yn fwy penodol yn yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn.

Mesuriadau’r twmpathau ffordd arfaethedig yw:

• 75 milimetr (0.075 metr) o uchder, gan gydymffurfio â’r amrywiadau a ganiateir yn y Rheoliadau (lle na fydd y twmpath yn fwy na 100 milimetr o uchder);

• brig gwastad sy’n mesur 4000 milimetr (4 metr) o hyd; a

• rampiau ar yr esgyniad i’r twmpath arafu estynedig a’r disgyniad ohono sy’n mesur 1125 milimetr (1.125 metr) o hyd.

Gellir gweld manylion llawn y cynnig, ynghyd â chynllun a datganiad o resymau’r Cyngor dros geisio cyflwyno’r mesurau arafu traffig hyn, yn swyddfa HWB Gwasanaethau Cwsmeriaid y Cyngor yn Rhif 36, Stryd Stepney, Llanelli SA15 3TR yn ystod oriau swyddfa arferol.

Construction of New Road Humps – Station Road and Maes y Gors, Llanelli

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Carmarthenshire County Council (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Council’), in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Regulations’) in accordance with Section 90C(1) of the Act, and in accordance with Sections 90C(2) and 90C(3) of the Act, intends to construct new road humps in the form of a raised plateau on Station Road and Maes y Gors in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.

The location of each road hump is more particularly described in the Schedule to this Notice.

The dimensions of the proposed road humps are:

• a height of 75 millimetres (0.075 metres), in line with the tolerances permitted in the Regulations (where a hump should not exceed a height of 100 millimetres);

• a flat top measuring 4000 millimetres (4 metres) in length; and

• ramps on the approach to and descent from the raised plateau measuring 1125 millimetres (1.125 metres) in length.

Full details of the proposal, together with a plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for seeking to introduce these traffic calming measures, may be examined at the office of the Council’s Customer Service HWB at No.36 Stepney Street, Llanelli SA15 3TR during usual office hours.
