Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Closing Of Bridleway Bygrave 001, 013, Baldock 002, 003, 033
NOTICE is given that the HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horse riders, and cyclists from using that length of Bridleway Bygrave 001, 013, Baldock 002, 003, 033, Between Bygrave Plantation and Norton Road, for an approximate distance of 2500m.
Alternative route: On access routes provided as well as: pedestrians along Baldock 1 and Bygrave 14, Cyclists and equestrian users on Bygrave 14

The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.

The section of Bridleway will be closed on or after 28 September 2026 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place.

NOTICE is given that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Arlesey Road, Ickleford from its junction with Turnpike Way south eastwards to its junction with Old Hale Way, a distance of approximately 199m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via: Turnpike Way, A600 Bedford Road, Bearton Road and Old Hale Way.

Additionally, all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order will come into effect from 14 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 8 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. That length of Foxfield, Stevenage from its junction with Featherston Road south eastwards, eastwards and westwards to its junction with Shephall Way, a distance of approximately 234m.
An alternative route will be via: Featherston Road and Shephall Way.

2. That length of South Road, Baldock from its junction with the B197 High Street/B197 London Road roundabout north eastwards to its junction with the A507 Clothall Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 389m.
An alternative route will be via: B197 High Street, B656 Whitehorse Street and A507 Clothall Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

1. That length of Mansfield Road, Baldock from its junction with Weston Way north eastwards to its junction with B197 High Street, a distance of approximately 400m.
An alternative route will be via: Weston Way, B656 (Letchworth Road/Hitchin Street) and B197 High Street.

2. That length of Whitehurst Avenue, Hitchin from its junction with Strathmore Avenue south westwards to its junction with Wilton Road, a distance of approximately 70m.
An alternative route will be via: Strathmore Avenue, Periwinkle Lane and Whitehurst Avenue.

3. That length of Folly Lane, St Ippolyts from its junction with Stevenage Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m.
An alternative route will be via: Folly Lane, Ashbrook Lane, A602 Stevenage Road, Stevenage Road, Blakemore End Road, Stevenage Road, Sperberry Hill and Folly Lane.

4. That length of Stormont Road, Hitchin from its junction with Heathfield Road south westwards to its junction with Strathmore Avenue, a distance of approximately 123m.
An alternative route will be via: Heathfield Road and Strathmore Avenue.

5. That length of 5U1748 (unnamed road), Bygrave from the access road leading to Bygrave Public Bridleway No.007 north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A505 Royston Road, a distance of approximately 90m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.

6. The A505 southbound slip road leading onto A505 Baldock Bypass, Baldock from the access road leading to Rushden and Wallington Public Bridleway No.041 south westwards to its junction with A505 Baldock Bypass, a distance of approximately 75m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order will come into effect from 12 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Pixmore Way, Letchworth Garden City from its junction with Lytton Avenue south eastwards to its junction with the North Way South roundabout, a distance of approximately 155m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via: Lytton Avenue, Meadow Way and Norton Way South.

2. To prohibit all subway users from using the subway situated beneath A505 Letchworth Gate, Letchworth Garden City from the footpath situated on the north west side of No.74 Yardley south westwards for a distance of approximately 98m ("the Subway").
An alternative route will be via: the footway situated on the north east side of Radburn Way, the subway situated beneath A505 Letchworth Gate, the footpath situated on the west side of A505 Letchworth Gate, the footway situated on the north and south sides of Howard Drive and the footpath situated on the south west side of A505 Letchworth Gate.

2. That length of B651 Horn Hill, Whitwell/B651 Hitchin Road, Kimpton from its junction with Strathmore Road south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with B651 High Street, a distance of approximately 2630m.
An alternative route will be via: B651 (Horn Hill/High Street/Hitchin Road/Whitwell Road), B656 (London Road/Hitchin Road/High Street/Codicote Road/Link Road/Church Street), A1000 Welwyn Bypass Road, B197 (Welwyn Bypass Road/Digswell Hill/Great North Road), B653 (Brocket Road/Marford Road/Cory Wright Way/Codicote Road) and B651 (Lamer Lane/Kimpton Road/Ballsough Hill/High Street).

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
