On the 17th September 2026 The East Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises the restriction of vehicular access on a section of Netherlee Road, Netherlee (the one-way section between the entrance to Cathcart Cemetery to just before the roundabout at Brenfield Road).
The Order has been promoted in order to restrict vehicular access on a section of Netherlee Road, Netherlee, to facilitate the safe installation of new street lighting infrastructure on or near the road, scheduled to be carried out between Monday 26th October to Friday 6th November 2026.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to the Cemetery will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian and cycle path access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative route: Netherlee Road – Clarkston Road (B767) Southbound – Clarkston Toll – Clarkston Road (B767) Northbound - Brenfield Road.
