1. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make a Road Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to amend the (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation Order 2021)
The effect of this will be to introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions at the following three junctions along Routh Avenue, Beverley.
The junction of Routh Avenue with the western extent of Hotham Square. The junction of Routh Avenue with the eastern extent of Hotham Square.
The junction of Routh Avenue with Warton Avenue.
The proposed restrictions will be implemented as shown on the attached drawings, extending approximately ten metres in both directions along the kerbline at each junction.
2. An illustrative drawing is available for inspection reference: LTP 6312 S27 01 01.
3. A copy of the draft Order, annotated illustrative drawing and a statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available for inspection at: Beverley Customer Service Centre, Champney Treasure House, Champney Road, Beverley, HU17 8HE.
A copy of the street notice and annotated illustrative drawing have been placed on the council’s website (East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Traffic Management and Road Safety). 4. Objections to the proposed Order, stating the grounds for objection, should be emailed to: traffic.consultation@eastriding.gov.uk or sent in writing to Traffic & Parking Services, Directorate of Prosperity & Place, Beverley Depot, Annie Reed Road, Beverley, HU17 0LF quoting reference 3102397 before 15 October 2026.
