Winchester - Temporary Road Closures due to Pole Replacement Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES –

B3420 ANDOVER ROAD &

B3041 BEREWEEKE ROAD, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

• that part of B3420 Andover Road between its junction with North Hill Close and its junction with Winton Close.

• that part of B3041 Bereweeke Road between its junction with Andover Road and the entrance to Lanterns Nursery School.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

For Andover Road Northbound – B3330, Durngate, Wales Street, Easton Lane, A34, B3420.

For Andover Road Southbound – Stud Lane, Main Road, B3049, B3044.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 5th October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 nights, working between the hours 20:00-06:00).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Paragon Traffic Management Ltd to carry out pole replacement works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order or the associated works, please contact: Allison.u@paragontm.co.uk

Paragon Traffic Management Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
