Warwickshire County Council has made the
following Temporary Traffic Orders:
C34 FRANKTON LANE, STRETTON-ON-DUNSMORE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic
between Fosse Way and Frankton Lane.
Reason for Order: Drainage maintenance and
associated works, 09.30hrs - 15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 15 September 2026 for up to
18 months
Anticipated Completion: 15 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: B4453, B4455.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415302.
RUGBY FOOD FESTIVAL - AUTUMN 2026
Order Effect: Regent Street, Regent Place, Henry
Street & Bank Street, Benn, Rugby will be closed to
vehicular traffic between 04.00hrs and 20.30hrs.
Reason for Order: The closures and restrictions are
required for the safety of the public and of the
participants in the Rugby Food Festival 2026.
Order Commences: 19 September 2026 for 1 day.

Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety from
Cornwallis Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works,
closed 09.30hrs - 15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 14 September 2026 for up to
18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Vehicular
access & egress will be maintained where possible
and safe to do so for businesses and residents only.

FOSSE WAY, MONKS KIRBY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to
renew pole.
Order Commences: 15 September 2026 for up to
18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Fosse Way, Withybrook Road,
Coventry Road, Lutterworth Road, Watling Street,
A5 and vice versa.

SCHOOL LANE, STRETTON-ON-DUNSMORE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Repair/replace defective manhole
frame and covers.
Order Commences: 13 September 2026 for up to
18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: School Lane, Brookside, Fosse
Way, London Road, A45 and vice versa.

DRAYCOTE ROAD, DRAYCOTE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Install new water connection
from mains in carriageway.
Order Commences: 16 September 2026 for up to
18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Draycote Road, Lias Line
Cycleway, Straight Mile, Main Street and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make
the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM HILLARY ROAD TO
OVERSLADE MANOR DRIVE, RUGBY
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.
Reason for Order: Excavation works to repair
wastewater pipe.
Order Commences: 28 September 2026 for up to
6 months
Anticipated Completion: 2 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: Hillary Road, Overslade Lane,
Overslade Manor Drive and vice versa.
Contractor: STW Sewerage, Tel: 0345 602 7723.
FOSSE WAY, STRETTON-ON-DUNSMORE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Water pipe renewal works.
Order Commences: 28 September 2026 for up to
18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: Fosse Way, Oxford Road,
Leamington Road, London Road, A45 and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 0330 008 0820.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian
access to and egress from properties and land
situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed
will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will
be maintained where possible.
