Barnet - Changes To Disabled Parking Bays & Parking Restrictions

The Barnet (Free Parking Places, Loading Places, Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) - (Amendment No.) Order 20** The Barnet (Charged-For Parking Places) - (Amendment No.) Order 20**

Notice Is Hereby Given that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to provide a parking facility to disabled blue badge holders who meet qualifying criteria, the general effect of the above Orders would be to provide designated disabled parking bays for use by motorists in their vehicles who display both a valid disabled blue badge and a dedicated disabled permit which would be applicable to each bay, outside the following locations: -
1 Audley Road NW4 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking),
114 Goldbeaters Grove HA8 (by replacing an area of permit holders only parking),
31 Finchley Park N12 (by converting a length of single yellow line waiting restriction),
40 Millfield Road HA8 (by converting a resident permit holders only parking bay),
19 Green Road N20,
32 Bryan Close EN5,
11 Heath View Close N2,
10 Wallcote Avenue NW2 (by replacing an area of permit holders only
parking),
24 West Walk EN4,
14 St Peters Close EN5 (by replacing an area of permit holders only parking),
6 Brampton Grove NW4 (by converting a length of permit holders only parking bay),
33 Audley Road NW4 (by converting a resident permit holder only parking bay),
19 Dartmouth Road NW4 (by converting a general disabled permit holders only parking bay),
51 Welbeck Road EN4,
52a Grove Road EN4,
44 Sevington Road NW4 (by converting a general disabled permit holders only bay),
39 Victoria Grove N12 (by converting a length of permit holders only parking bay),
1 Sutherland Close EN5,
97-107 Silkstream Road HA8 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay),
6 Portsdown Avenue NW11 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay) and;
30-31 Haldane Close N10.

A dedicated disabled permit holder parking bay would also be provided opposite No.9 Brookside Close EN5, and on Brent View Road NW9 adjacent to No.224 West Hendon Broadway (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay).

The proposed Order would also provide a general disabled permit holders only parking bay outside 211 Deansbrook Road HA8 (by converting a length of payment parking bay).

The general effect of the above Orders would also be to remove redundant disabled permit holder only parking bays outside:-
33 Rosemary Avenue N3,
6 Edge Hill Avenue N3 (to be converted to ‘At any time’ waiting restrictions),
6 Midholm NW11,
6/8 Westholm NW11,
8/10 Westholm NW11,
10 Eastville Avenue NW11,
11 Derby Avenue N12 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Saturday),
13 Montpelier Rise NW11 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking 11:00am to 12:00 midday Monday to Friday),
15 Russell Road NW9 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Saturday),
34/35 Bryant Close EN5,
39 Leicester Road N2 (to be converted to permit holders only parking 2:00pm to 3:00pm Monday to Friday),
114 Church Lane N2,
231 Oakleigh Road North N20 and;
1 Dorchester Terrace, Holders Hill Crescent NW4 (to be converted to permit holders only parking 1:00pm to 6:00pm on event days).
