Bowling Hall Road - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BOWLING HALL ROAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Bowling Hall Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Bowling Hall Road from its junction with Rooley Lane to a point outside No.144 Bowling Hall Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Rooley Lane, Wakefield Road, New Hey Road, Bowling Hall Road (unaffected section) and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 5th October 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 9th October 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
