The County of Cornwall (Various Roads, Fraddon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Stopping) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 21st September 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Fraddon. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th October 2026 to 7th October 2026.

Roads subject to prohibition - Road From Roundabout On B3275 To Westbourne Terrace, Fraddon, Road From Penhale To Ridgewell Terrace, Fraddon, Road From Ridgewell Terrace To Barton Road, Fraddon, Road From Barton Lane To Fraddon Hill, Fraddon, Parka Road, Fraddon, Parka Road, St Columb Road, Fraddon Hill, Fraddon, Road To Indian Queens From Fraddon, Fraddon, Road From Belmont To Chapel Road, Indian Queens, Chapel Road, Indian Queens for their entire lengths.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st September 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Fraddon. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Road From Roundabout On B3275 To Westbourne Terrace, Fraddon, Road From Penhale To Ridgewell Terrace, Fraddon, Road From Ridgewell Terrace To Barton Road, Fraddon, Road From Barton Lane To Fraddon Hill, Fraddon, Parka Road, Fraddon, Parka Road, St Columb Road, Fraddon Hill, Fraddon, Road To Indian Queens From Fraddon, Fraddon, Road From Belmont To Chapel Road, Indian Queens, Chapel Road, Indian Queens for their entire lengths.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only. An alternative route will be signed on site. The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Love Lane, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin.

This prohibition is necessary for gully upgrade works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd October 2026 to 23rd October 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for CCTV and root cutting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th October 2026 to 21st October 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Road From Millways To Polgrain Hill, Polgrain Hill, Bodmin from property known as Watergate to junction with Road From Trewollack Road To Polgrain Hill. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st September 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay.

This prohibition is necessary for solar farm cable installation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th October 2026 to 18th October 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Junction South Of The Vale To Borough Boundary South Of Coswarth Cottages, Newquay from junction with Road From North West Of Perrose Farm To The A3058 East Of Tresillian Cottage to grid reference SW 87372 59099. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th October 2026 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Padstow. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd October 2026 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Road affected - B3276 Between Trevear Lane And Porthcothan Farm, St Merryn, Padstow from property known as Trevoyan to approximately 100 metres north. An alternative route will be signed on site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 13 in the Parish of Mawgan-in-Pydar between grid references SW872275498 and SW870865446. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to defective and hazardous footbridge.

The Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 23rd March 2027. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 2nd September 2026 for a period of up to 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st September 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Veep. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th October 2026 to 9th October 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Boscastle. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th October 2026 to 23rd October 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Old Road, Boscastle for its entire length. An alternative route will be signed on site.
