CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U2120 BASSENTHWAITE AND C2016 CAMERTON ROAD, SEATON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
1. U2120, Bassenthwaite, from its junction with the A591, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 70m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the U2120, U2119, and A591.
Duration: From 30 October 2026 for approx. 1 day between 0930 and 1530 hours (Ref: TTROC/20040)
2. C2016, Camerton Road, Seaton, from a point approx. 180m north east of its junction with the U2182, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 540m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C2016 Camerton Road, U2165, C2001, and Causeway Road.
Duration: From 20 November 2026 for approx. 1 day between 0930 and 1530 hours (Ref: TTROC/20216)
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 30 October 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
