NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDERSECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCILDEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF DERBYSHIRE

THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM FERRY LANE TO THE RIVER TRENT - PARISH OF TWYFORD AND STENSON) MODIFICATION ORDER 2026

The above Order made on 07 May 2026, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by varying the particulars of:

• Public Footpath in the Parish of Twyford and Stenson from Ferry Lane, commencing at Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (GR) SK 3266 2847) proceeding in a generally south westerly direction to the River Trent at Point B (GR SK 3265 2846), with a total length of 12 metres and a width of 2 metres.

A copy of the Order and map are available to view on the Council website at: www.derbyshire.gov.uk/ rightsofwaynotices. Documents can also be seen free of charge at County Hall, Matlock, during normal office hours where copies may be bought at the price of £1.00 or at Etwall Library, Eggington Road, Etwall, Derbyshire, DE65 6NB, during normal opening hours.

Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to the Director of Legal Services at the address below or by email to Dmmo.register@derbyshire. gov.uk not later than Thursday, 5 November 2026, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Derbyshire County Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
