What is happening?
Notice is hereby given that on Salford City Council made the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders is to introduce the following; City Of Salford (Peel Hall Primary School) (Prohibition Of Driving During School Term Time) (Except Cycles And Permit Holders) Order 2026 Prohibition of Driving on: Green-court Drive, Little Hulton, Manchester - For its entire length. The following properties will be eligible to apply for parking permits. 1-21 (inclusive) Greencourt Drive, Little Hulton, Manchester, M38 0BZ.
City Of Salford (Greencourt Drive And Parkway) (Prohibition Of Waiting And Loading/Unloading) Order 2026. No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading at any time on: Greencourt Drive - Both sides from southern extended kerbline of Parkway for a distance of 15 metres in a southerly direction. Parkway - Southern side, from a point 15 metres west from the western extended kerbline of Greencourt Drive to a point 15 metres east from the eastern extended kerbline of Greencourt Drive.
City Of Salford (Parkway, Salford) (20MPH Speed Limit) Order 2026. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20MPH Speed Limit on the following lengths of road - Parkway - From Peel Lane to Alderbrook Road. The Orders will come into operation on the 25th September 2026.
A copy of the Orders and plan will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm Mon to Fri inclu-sive.
Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested at phlegal@manchester. gov.uk or by writing to Fiona Ledden, City Solicitor PO BOX 532, Town Hall, Manchester M60 2LA quoting reference L/ GS/SCC006/01363.If you wish to question the validity of the Orders or of any of the provisions contained in them on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 22nd September 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
