(PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, WAITING, LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council proposes to make an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in the North West Outer Bath Area:-
• Introduce No Parking At Any Time restrictions on High Street, Weston/Southlands/Yomede Park/Alpine Gardens/Greenbank Gardens/Homelea Park East/Newbridge Road/Sion Road/Sion Hill/Cavendish Road/Park Place/Brookfield Park/Lansdown Road, Bath.
• Introduce Blue Bade Holder Only Parking in lengths of Chandler Close/Southlands and Newbridge Road, Bath.
• Introduce No Parking/Waiting/Loading At Any Time in lengths of Lower Bristol Road, Bath.
• Introduce a Red Route Clearway/No Stopping At Any Time on lengths of Lansdown Road, Bath.
• Introduce a dual Zone 24 Permit Holder/1 Hour Free Parking Bay in lengths of Foxcombe Road, Bath.
• Introduce Loading Only Bays in lengths of Lower Bristol Road, Bath.
• Introduce No Parking Between 10am - 4pm, Monday - Friday in lengths of Cranwell’s Park, Bath.
• Introduce 3 Hour Limited Waiting Bays, operating 10am - 4pm, Monday - Friday in lengths of Cranwell’s Park, Bath.
Full details of the proposals, together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the order, may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours or may be requested, free of charge, by contacting by email council_connect@bathnes.gov.uk or by calling 01225 394041.
