THE A52 TRUNK ROAD (BRAMCOTE, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A52 Trunk Road, at Bramcote, in the County of Nottinghamshire, to enable gas mains replacement works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from –
(1) entering or proceeding through the gap in the central reservation of the A52 opposite its junction with the Thoresby Road, at Bramcote; or
(2) making a right turn from the westbound carriageway of the A52 through the gap in the central reservation into Thoresby Road, at Bramcote.
The gap is expected to be closed from 06:00 hours on Monday 19 October 2026 until 22:00 hours on Sunday 1 November 2026. The order will come into force on 12 October 2026.
Vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the prohibition.
A diversion route via the A6007, the A6002 and Wollaton Vale will be signed.
