TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Essex under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order would be to impose a 24-hour 50mph speed limit on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between a point approximately 1395 metres east of the centreline of Burntfarm Ride underbridge and a point approximately 2875 metres east of the centreline of Cattlegate Road overbridge.
This measure would be in the interests of road safety while embankment works, barrier repairs, drainage works and associated works take place.
It is expected that the works would last for approximately one week starting on Monday 12th October 2026.
The Order would come into force on 10th October 2026 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.
The speed limit would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when required during the works period.
