THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(ELLERTON WALK) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting pedestrians from proceeding on Ellerton Walk
footpath, in both directions, from Audlem Walk to the side
of property 4.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of six
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 5 October 2026 until 16 October 2026.
The pedestrian diversion route is: Audlem Walk, Bushbury
Road, Longford Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement
works by Cadent Gas.
