LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(COLLINGHAM PARK AREA, LANCASTER, LANCASTER CITY) (REVOCATION AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council proposed to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. Following consultation carried out between 16th July 2026 and 13th August 2026, it is now intended to modify the proposed Order as titled above, as set out below.
1. Remove the following revocations from Schedule 1a:
a) Items (ii) and (iv) of the Schedule.
2. Remove the following from Schedule 2 Prohibition of Waiting:
c) Collingham Park, Lancaster, the south and east side, from a point 53.5 metres west of its junction with the Centreline of Maplewood Gardens to its junction with the Centreline of Scotforth Road, A6.
3. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in Collingham Park, Lancaster, the south west side, from its junction with the centreline of Scotforth Road for a distance of 49 metres in an easterly direction.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Lancaster City Council, Town Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, LA1 1PJ, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
