SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF MERESIDE, FLAMBOROUGH
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding
along part of Mereside, Flamborough from a property
called Highlands East to a property called Dial House
commencing 19 October 2026 until 23 October
2026 for the purposes of excavation and repair of a
sewer works.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within five days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via Mereside and South Sea Road,
Flamborough CP, Bridlington North Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all traffic without
exception but access will be maintained for pedestrians.
