The following public notices were served on Thursday 24th September 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN BLETCHLEY, HANSLOPE, WALNUT TREE AND WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2420)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Anglian Water undertake maintenance works:
14th – 16th October 2026
Cottingham Grove, Bletchley – From its junction with Buckingham Road to outside number 10.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Buckingham Road.
27th October 2026 (9:00am to 3:30pm)
Lichfield Down, Walnut Tree – between numbers 134 and 138.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Hindhead Knoll, Walton Road, Brickhill Street and Dunchurch Dale (and vice versa).
13th – 15th October 2026 (8:00am – 4:00pm)
Pindon End, Hanslope – from the railway bridge to its junction with its junction with Cranfield Road to its junction with Bozenham Mill Lane.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via A508, Yardley Road, Castlethorpe Road, Long Street Road and Higham Cross Road (and vice versa).
7th October 2026 (9:30am to 4:30pm)
Theydon Avenue, Woburn Sands – from its junction with Bow Brickhill Road to its junction with Elm Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Bow Brickhil Roadl, The Leys, Hardwick Road and Station Road (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BURY CLOSE AND ROBERT PEEL CLOSE, NEWPORT PAGNELL)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2469)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Brennan Building and Civil Engineering Limited to undertake construction works on a new development:
Bury Close and Robert Peel Close, Newport Pagnell – their entire lengths
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 5th – 16th October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WASTEL, BEANHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2477)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Wastel, Beanhill – between numbers 17 and 39.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 5th – 7th October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STRATFORD ROAD (PART), WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2497)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting or loadin along the following length of road whilst the Agora redevelopment works are being undertaken:
Stratford Road, Wolverton – From outside The North Western Pub to its junction with Radcliffe Street on its westbound carriageway
The temporary restrictions will be in effect from 5th October 2026 and remain in effect for 18 months.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SUTHERLAND GROVE, BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2472)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Sutherland Grove, Bletchley – between numbers 21 and 41.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Angus Drive, Forfar Drive and Whaddon Way (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 7th – 9th October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BLACKHILL DRIVE, WOLVERTON MILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2473)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Blackhill Drive, Wolverton Mill – between Bluecube and Walnut House.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 7th – 9th October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SECKLOW GATE (PART), CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2474)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Hutchinson 3G undertake an upgrade of telecoms equipment:
Secklow Gate, Central Milton Keynes – Its northbound carriageway between Childs Way and Avebury Boulevard.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Childs Way, Marlborough Street and Portway.
The road closure will be in effect from 7th – 9th October 2026 between 9:30am and 3:30pm and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WALTON ROAD, WAVENDON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2470)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake cabling works:
Walton Road, Wavendon – between Phoebe Lane and Kings Close.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Passalewe Lane, Isaacson Drive, Fyfield Barrow, Tongwell Street, Groveway and Newport Road (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect on 9th October 2026 between 9:30am and 3:30pm and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council on 22nd September 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (GRAFTON STREET (PART), BRADWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2461)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Hutchinson 3G undertake telecoms works:
Grafton Street, Bradwell – Its northbound carriageway from its junction with Dansteed Way to its junction with Walgrave Drive.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Dansteed Way, Saxon Street and Monks Way.
The closures will be in effect from 28th – 30th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Petworth, Great Holm – from its junction with Holyrood to its junction with Swallowfield.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Holyrood, Highgrove Hill and Kensington Drive (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 28th – 30th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BOOKER AVENUE, BRADWELL COMMON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2479)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Booker Avenue, Bradwell Common – between numbers 24 and 30.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Stokenchurch Place and Ibstone Avenue (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 28th September – 1st October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Cheriton, Furzton – between numbers 2 and 8.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 29th September – 1st October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Dalvina Place, Hodge Lea – between numbers 3 and 6.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 30th September – 2nd October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Woodrush Close, Beanhill – between numbers 3 and 12.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 30th September – 2nd October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
