PALTERTON LANE, SUTTON SCARSDALE
WHEN: 14 October 2026 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Palterton Lane, Sutton Scarsdale between the Jct. with Carr Lane for a distance
of 250m in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate telegraph pole renewal
works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Carr Lane, Main
Street, Rylah Hill, Unnamed Road, Ramcroft,
M1 J29 Interchange, A6175 Heath Road, Slack Lane, Mansfield Road, Shire Lane, Palterton Lane and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
