What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
PARKE ROAD, TIDESWELL
WHEN: 12 October to 06 November 2026
WHERE: Parke Road, Tideswell between Jct.
with High Street and Jct. with Sherwood Road.
REASON: To facilitate microasphalt surfacing of
carriageway.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sherwood Road,
Wheston Bank, Manchester Road, Market
Square, High Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Council intends to make an Order under
Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
