Prohibition Of Waiting & Loading & Provision Of Parking) (Millgate, Selby) (Amendment No 83) Order 2026 Notice is hereby given that on 18 September 2026 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Selby) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the schedule below:- Schedule, Prohibition Of Waiting & Loading & Provision Of Parking Selby, Millgate, West Side, Boundary of number 127, Southeast for 6.6m, Disabled Parking Bay. A copy of the Order, which comes into force on 28/09/26, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Selby Library, 52 Micklegate, Selby YO8 4EQ during normal office hours from 24/09/26 - 30/10/26 & also viewed online at

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks of 18/09/26 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
(20 Mph Zone & 30 Mph Speed Limit) (Various Roads, Cliffe, Selby) Order 2026 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour on any length of road specified in schedule 1 below & 30mph on any length of road specified in schedule 2 below:- Schedule 1, 20mph Zone, Hull Road (U1473), for its entirety. William Jacques Drive, For its entirety. The Shrubberies, For its entirety. Main Street, For its entirety. Turnham Lane, From its junction with Hull Road in a westerly direction for 30 metres. Schedule 2, 30mph Speed Limit, Turnham Lane, From a point 30 metres west of its junction with Hull Road in a westerly direction for 513 metres. Revocations: “We (30 Mph Speed Limit) (Turnham Lane Cliffe) Order 2025” is hereby revoked in its entirety. “We (20 Mph Zone & 30 Mph Speed Limit) (Various Roads, Cliffe Order 2026” is hereby revoked in its entirety. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Selby Library, 52 Micklegate, Selby, YO8 4EQ during normal office hours from 24/09/26 until 15/10/26 & also viewed online at
