What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BULLBRIDGE HILL, AMBERGATE
WHEN: 10 October to 11 October 2026
(between 07:00 to 17:00 only)
WHERE: Bullbridge Hill, Ambergate from Jct. of
A610 to Allen Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway & footway improvements including carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Crich Road, The
Common, B5035, A6, A610 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Council intends to make an Order under
Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
